Dr. Shannon Schrader is an experienced Family Practice Physician who has been serving the Southeast Texas community at TAN Healthcare for many years. He earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky and completed his residency and internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Schrader says, “I chose to practice family medicine in order to have the opportunity to develop close and personal relationships with my patients.
The continuity of care enables me to glean insight into my patients’ lives and the circumstances that may impact their overall health and well-being. My patients are my family members and deserve the best.” He sees patients at both clinic locations each month.

Alicia is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She started as a licensed vocational nurse in 2004, obtained her associates degree as a registered nurse in 2008 and completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2014 from Lamar University. She graduated with her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. “As health care providers, we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients, their families, and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” Alicia treats pediatrics to geriatrics and sees patients in both Beaumont and Orange locations.

Misty Kibodeaux is the Compliance & Quality Improvement Officer and has been with TAN Healthcare since April 2017. She has been instrumental in leading the transformation process for TAN Healthcare to become recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). This provides TAN patients with quality which is comprehensive, patient-centered, coordinated, accessible, and safe. She says, “TAN Healthcare gives me personal fulfillment by allowing me to strive to be a better leader within our healthcare system, steward to our communities, and be the patients’ personal behind-the-scenes advocate. TAN Healthcare is an amazing place of growth and ingenuity, and I am personally proud to say I am part of the Team TAN family!” She has over 20 years of healthcare experience in billing, clinical coordination, and management/administration. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings from pediatrics, primary health care, geriatrics, and hospitals. Mrs. Kibodeaux is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and a member of the Health Care Compliance Association. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She and her husband, Ken, live in Orange, Texas, and have four children and two grandchildren.

Farrah Severs-Young, Beaumont Health Center Manager
Farrah joined the TAN Healthcare team in April of 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and an MBA from Western Governors University in Austin. She comes to TAN with many years of healthcare and leadership experience and a heartfelt dedication to her community. She is a graduate of Leadership Beaumont, a proud recipient of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 through the SETX YPO, and an honored board member for several organizations across Southeast Texas. Farrah hails from a small cotton farming community in the panhandle but has lovingly called Southeast Texas her home for the past 21 years. She lives in Beaumont with her husband and son.
